For propelling the Rocket Racer?

Pulsejets are devices for turning aviation fuel into noise, with a slight side effect of thrust.
They’re great for models because unlike ordinary jet turbines they scale down really well, but they’re not suitable for large-scale use.
(That said, there is research in valveless pulsejets going on right now — apparently they work at a very wide range of speeds, unlike traditional turbines.)
Yeah pulse detonation engines, either for extra compression in a turbine engine or without turbines for high speed propulsion. Funny thing that a PDE engine (a modified car piston engine) was tested on a Long-Ez as well! This time real size. The canard is good for pusher propulsion testing.
